Building the Right Partnerships

Insights from George Ioakeimidis, Head of B2B Growth

What defines an “ideal partner” for Campeón Gaming?

At Campeón Gaming, we don’t believe in a rigid definition of an “ideal partner.” Our customer base is intentionally open, and we work with multiple partnership models that have proven successful over time.

Instead of fitting partners into a predefined template, we focus on building the right collaboration structure based on their strengths, experience, and long-term vision. Alignment is far more important to us than ticking boxes.

What types of partnership models have you seen work best?

We currently work with several models, each designed to support different partner profiles.

  1. Affiliate-driven partnerships
One of our strongest models is with leading affiliate companies. In this setup, the partner is responsible for traffic acquisition and marketing, while Campeón Gaming retains full ownership of the operational side.
This includes Payments, Affiliates, CRM, KYC & Fraud, Customer Support, Casino and Sportsbook Management, and VIP services.
  2. Entrepreneurs launching their own brands
Another successful model involves experienced industry professionals who want to build their own Casino and Sportsbook. These partners typically seek a full white-label solution, where we provide the complete operational infrastructure and ongoing support.
  3. Established brands seeking a better platform
We also collaborate with existing brands that are dissatisfied with their current platform providers and are looking for a more flexible, reliable solution backed by a highly experienced iGaming team.

Are there any red flags when evaluating potential partners?

We are open to discussions with everyone, including industry newcomers and investors, and we actively support partners who want to enter the iGaming space. In fact, we are already working with investors as long-term partners.

However, a clear red flag for us is a lack of openness to collaboration. The iGaming industry is complex and heavily regulated, and believing that experience from another industry alone is enough to guarantee success often leads to unrealistic expectations. Strong partnerships are built on mutual respect, trust, and a willingness to listen to expert guidance.

What are the most common questions potential partners ask?

Most initial conversations focus on:

  • Commercial terms and costs
  • Available licenses
  • Launch timelines and speed to market

While these are valid and important considerations, they are rarely the most critical factors for long-term success.

What questions should partners be asking instead?

The most important questions go much deeper. Partners should be asking:

  • How experienced is the team that will operate the business and drive profitability?
  • How reliable is the platform, and are there proven uptime and performance metrics?
  • How flexible is the platform if the business strategy changes?
  • How quickly can the platform adapt to regulatory changes across different markets?
  • And ultimately, when does the business realistically become profitable, based on data and real operational experience?

These are the questions that truly determine whether a partnership will succeed in the long run.

At Campeón Gaming, we believe successful iGaming partnerships are built on experience, trust, and long-term alignment. By focusing on the fundamentals, rather than just speed or cost, we help our partners build sustainable, scalable businesses in a highly competitive industry.
