Our Mission

We nurture the love for the game by creating basketball experiences for kids, families, and academies. Through our support of basketball academies in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Nicosia, we’re shaping a complete ecosystem around the game, on and off the court.

Meet the Ambassador

We proudly welcome our new Ambassador, Vasilis Xanthopoulos, former international basketball player, who inspires the younger generation.

He states:

“Investing in children is both a responsibility and an opportunity. Our goal is to create an environment that nurtures skills, values, and confidence, allowing every young athlete to grow in safety and respect.”

The Teams

The history of the 6 Academies

B.C. TRITON

Established in 1942 in Sepolia, Athens, Triton B.C. is Greece’s pioneer basketball club with the first women’s team. Today, its Basketball Academies nurture more than 120 young athletes.

A.O. Palaio Faliro (AOPF)

Founded in 1947 in Palaio Faliro, AOPF has a long-standing presence in Athens’ basketball scene. Today, the club’s academies include more than 100 young athletes, with teams covering all age categories.

A.C. PAPAGOU

A.C. Papagou was founded in 1966 in Papagou, Athens, and is distinguished by a lightning bolt emblem. Currently, its Basketball Academies support more than 190 young athletes.

A.O.N.S. MILON

A.O.N.S. MILON, based in Nea Smyrni, Athens since 1928, began as the Sports Club of Nea Smyrni. Today, its Basketball Academies support over 440 young athletes.

10A Academy

The formation of the 10A Academy took place in 2015 in Thessaloniki, integrating two teams of Evosmos, Doxa Elpidos and Kronos. Today, the Basketball Academies nurture more than 460 young athletes.

YMCA THESSALONIKI

Founded in 1921, YMCA THESSALONIKI boasts a history spanning over a century and is located in the heart of northern Greece, in Thessaloniki. Today, its basketball academies train more than 400 young athletes.

Keravnos

Established in 1926, Keravnos Strovolou is one of the oldest sports clubs in Cyprus. The Basketball Academy currently has over 300 members.
